Eid Milad-un-Nabi, also known as the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, is a public holiday in Pakistan. Sunni Muslims observe Milad-un-Nabi on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal (third month of the Islamic calendar) while Shia Muslims observe it on 17 Rabi-ul-Awwal, coinciding with the birth date of their sixth Imam Jafar-al-Sadiq.

Governor Sindh announces holiday, lifts pillion-riding ban for Rabi-ul-Awal

KARACHI: A public holiday has been announced in Sindh by Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad on 11th Rabi-ul-Awwal, Saturday Feb 04 while there will be no ban on pillion ridding for two days on 11th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.

According to sources The governor was heading a meeting of religious scholars belonging to different sects and higher authorities of the province including the home minister and Minister for religious affairs.

The meeting was called to review security and other arrangements with regards to birth celebrations of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh).

In the meeting The governor announced to lift the pillion riding ban for two days and there would be public holiday on 11th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.

Pillion Riding (Double Sawari) Banned In Karachi Tonight from 12 AM

In the accordance with 12 Rabi-ul-awal pillion moving (Double Sawari) has been illegal in Karachi from Wednesday (1st Feb, 2012) 12 AM till 12 Rabi-ul-awal. This was declared by Home Minister Sindh.

Good News Double Sawari Is Open

Restriction of double sawari of motor cycle in karachi is been over on 15th January 2012 at 12:00 AM. Every buddy is now allowed to ride double on motor cycles. But the only restriction which is obligatory is that people are not allowed to ride the motor cycles without helmets. Traffic police will issue challan if the voilation is noticed any where. It is requested to peoples of gulshan e hadeed to take care of restriction.

Firing in Steel Town karachi 5 injured

At least five people were killed and 3 injured in different firing incidents in Karachi.

One person was shot dead in Gulshan-e-Hadeed. In Steel Town, five people were injured in firing between two groups on land dispute. The injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital, where Ashiq Hussain succumbed to injuries.

Electricity Problem in Gulshan e Hadeed P-I

Today from 9:00 AM electricity is not available due to some technical reason in different areas of Gulshan e Hadeed Phase I. After visiting Pakistan Steel Electricity Complain office which is situated near Diar-e-Habib Masjid, Complain officer told us that there is some technical issues and technical staff is still working to resolve the problem he also told us that this issue need approximately 1 (one) Hour to resolve they are trying to fix the problem as soon as possible.
It is requested to effected area residents, be paitaint and wait till the problem is fixed.

Clashes between police and Layyari residents in Karachi

Police used tear gas shelling and aerial firing as a rally of Layyari residents tried to enter one of the Red Zones of Karachi on Friday to handle the situation, but some people were injured due to tear gas afraid running. the worst thing which happened was that small children were also involved in the rally and some of them also got injured. The purpose of rally was against elected members, unemployment and provision of employments to the poor people of the country. heavy police contingent has been deployed on I.I. Chundrigar road to ensure to maintain the security situation.

Increasing Pollution In Gulshane E Hadeed

Pollution

Yes, pollution is alive and well in Pakistan. Whether it's from cars, factories or other sources, Pakistanis are regularly breathing in pollution. Sadly, few know about its disastrous effects on their and their children's health. At the least, pollution causes coughing, sore throat and nasal discharge. At the worst it leads to asthma, tumors, lung damage and death. Up Growing Pollution is now become a serious problem for the peoples of Gulshan e Hadeed from years. In earlier years Gulshan e Hadeed was very famous in Karachi because of it's clean environment, beauty & education. Today this area in the range of up growing Pollution. Peoples of hadeed is now suffering from several kind of diseases. Spite of several complains no one take any action or if happen it's on temporary bases after one or two weeks streets and about home area show the same condition as before.

Effects

When sewage is not properly collected and transported to sewage treatment plant in a sanitary way, sewage emanates foul odour causing air pollution. The reason why sewage remediation is so important is because the wastewater that comes from the broken sewage lines contains harmful microorganisms that cause diseases. Mosquito, flies & other Germs can be grow in dirty water. Typhoid, Malaria & Dengue these kind of diseases can be commonly occurred because of dirty sewerage water. due to sewerage broken lines it is very difficult to pass effected place.

What should we do ?

First of all we should need to manage area comity and complain to responsible department or a person. If no one take any notice, do not wait for any notification by other it is our responsibility at least to keep our area clean. If someone leaving garbage other than waist bin stop them because every buddy will start to place garbage in that place and it will become a waist area. There is many things we can do as we all are sensible nation & know what should be right !

Also it is become a trend in Pakistan to watch Star Plus drama serials which have very mature discussions and topics. watching with children specially mothers doesn't notice & care about it. So when ever you start to watch any mature drama serials or movies avoid to keep your children with you. Gaming both video and computer has become more than a fad, it is a part of life. Playing games is a common activity & interest of children to build there mind. Playing games not only gives to get entertain but it also give opportunity to learn new thing by losing and wining the Game. Video games and computer games are known to improve hand-eye co-ordination and help players gain many skills. However, all is not negative about gaming, studies by leading researchers have shown that video and computer games have many benefits.


Playing Video Games in an ordinary shops

We already know that the environment of an ordinary shops are not good. It depends on shop keeper to keep there shops clean as it is a place for children playing area which should be properly maintained neat and clean. but its totally against it, we can see spilt of tobacco on the walls all around the shop. Smoking smell of nicotine, it is not good for health. Different kind of peoples can be found in Video Games shop including educated & ill-literate. Educated peoples knows that how to care. but ill-literate peoples doesn't care for, there own, environment, and others because they don't know how to tackle. This thing not only effect on elders but also children learn from these things like Abusing, Chewing  Tobacco, Fighting etc.

Disadvantages of Video Gaming in ordinary Shops

We know that environment effects on human specially on children to build personality. As above mentioned that the environment of ordinary shops are not good. Children learn from video games shops how to abuse which is the normal thing when others are playing. How to use any kind of nicotine, sexual abuse by ill-literate and by other common things. Some games create negative effects on children, they become violence, rebellious to there parents if not permitted to play video game.

How to make good environment

Children are the asset of our nation; they are not only responsibility of their parents but also we should need to save our nation assets including video games shopkeepers, neighbors, teachers and elders. Parents should need to provide a frank environment in home that children feel not to go outside like that kind of places, only allow children to go outside for limited time. Try to provide games & activities at home like computer. Keep strictly care gathering of children. This is the duty of shopkeeper to care environment & which kind of activities happening in their shops, avoid to allow children if they came in school uniform at school timing. Children also should need to play those kind of games which mentally & physically give positive effects like Cricket, football, hockey etc.
